Marin City - Sausalito Tunnel Art Project

In 2017, residents of Marin City and Sausalito formed a committee interested in improving the tunnel between between the two communities. Funds were raised to add lighting to the tunnel, improving conditions for the high foot traffic area. In 2020, funds were raised to paint a mural in the tunnel. Local artist, Raylene Gorum, was chosen as the lead and the mural was officially opened in November 2022.
